As I have mentioned earlier, there are many designs and styles in loveseats and curved sofas. Many people have the false notion that a curved sofa is suitable for only a large living room, and it would look out-of-place in a small room. But that is not true. If you choose the right dimension, scale, pattern, and design, it would look great in a smaller living room too. If the dcor of your living room or hallway is modern and minimalistic with straight clean lines, then adding a curved sofa to the room will work very well. A brightly upholstered curved sofa with an armless design would be suitable for such a dcor. Since a modern minimalistic room is done up in all neutral shades, a pop of color like sea green, teal blue, or even yellow in the sofa would make the room look more beautiful.
Leather, thanks to its flexibility, can withstand years of wear and tear and still maintain a brand new look. Microfiber is susceptible to tears and frays in the long run. While leather sofas are easier to clean than a microfiber sofa, staining is a major problem with both. The chances of a microfiber sofa losing its charm and color after a few years is higher, compared to that of a leather sofa. In addition to that, both the sofas are subject to scratching, clawing and spilling, especially if you got kids and pets.
As far as the versatility of a faux leather sofa is concerned, it is available in a wide range of colors, designs, and patterns. It also lasts for many years, though the exact lifespan may be lesser than pure leather sofas. Go through the following info, and you can make a firm decision whether it is worth investing on this leather sofa or not.
Pure quality of leather is no doubt expensive. If affording leather furniture is not a problem for you, then you must go for the best quality. A higher grade leather has complete matte texture and is devoid of luster. Lower grade leather is mixed with micro acrylic resins which renders shine to the leather. Leather comes in four different forms, viz, full grain, top grain, corrected grain and split grain. Full grain leather is made up of purest form of hides which has not been snuffed, sanded or buffered. It's also the most durable form of leather and is expensive. Split layers of the hide are separated in top-grain leather variety. Since one layer has been removed, top grain leather is thinner than full grain leather. It also has certain advantages over full grain leather. The former can be maintained and cleaned easily and its price is also less. Corrected leather is given a finish by adding artificial grains. The hide is subjected to treatment for the purpose of producing either pigmented or semi aniline variety. Split leather is also created artificially from the fiber that has been separated from the raw hide. A faux leather sofa is also an alternative for expensive leather sofas. From the differences explained, you can easily make out that top grain leather is preferred mostly by all. You can opt of full grain leather only if price and maintenance are not a botheration for you.
