Know where you wish to keep your recliner and measure the space before buying one. The recliner chair you buy should perfectly fit into the dedicated space and also leave some room to move around. If you are buying a recliner online, the measurement tab would help you in making a better purchase decision. A recliner when sits straight eats less space and when is reclined fully asks for more space. So, make sure the space you have chosen for it allows it to recline fully.
Of course, advantages cannot exist without disadvantages. First off, a recliner office chair costs money. The more benefits, the higher the price you have to pay. With the current state of the economy, there are some who'd think twice before purchasing one of these. Another minor disadvantage is that workers may take the comfort offered by these chairs for granted. This means that a 15-minute power nap in full recline may end up as few hours of blissful sleep. But then again, a simple tap on the back of a sleeping worker once in a while may be better than spending hundreds of dollars in health insurance for lumbar, neck and shoulder problems among others.
The other part of the chair to think about is the front rigging better known as the foot rests or the elevating leg rests. These attachments go on the front of the chair and allow the users' feet to be raised above the ground so that they can move along easily with the force from their arms. The footrests are for simple easy lifting of the legs and will allow the user to get in and out of the chair easily. Elevating leg rests are what are great for post-op users as they are ones that will most likely need to elevate their legs while sitting in their chair. This option is one that works both ways and will be beneficial during post-op recovery as well as still being able to use them as a foot rest option.
When choosing such a recliner chair for all the benefits it has to offer, you must consider a lot of factors. It all starts with understanding how the riser function works, and how comfortable you are using it. Then comes the quality of the fabric that has been used. Since you are going to spend a lot of hours on the chair, the fabric should be comfortable enough for you. Of course, the comfort of the chair also matters, and you have to consider that before you buy the chair. You must check for the weight capacity and the battery life of the chair. How often are you going to have to change the battery? Finally, you must find out about the number of reclining positions the chair offers, and whether they suit your requirements.
